In keeping with the trend and recommendations of both the US Youth Soccer Organization as well as the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association, Tyngsboro Youth Soccer has decided to adopt this small-sided 3V3 format (w/no goalkeeper) at the U6 level.
We are implementing this change for one reason - "The small-sided environment is a developmentally appropriate environment for young soccer players. It's a FUN environment that focuses on the player." This is the opinion of the US Soccer National Staff Coaches, Every US Youth Soccer State Director of Coaching, as well as the US Youth Soccer Director of Coaching! TYSA offers an in-town program for children ages 4 through 5 (U6). Games are played in Tyngsboro against other Tyngsboro players . Registration for the fall program runs from May through August. Registration for the Spring program runs from October through March. Specific dates are posted on the TYSA website.
U K Elite Soccer facilitates the practices/games along with TYSA board members and parent volunteers.

The co-ed U6 program focuses on having fun while learning the basics: dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting and of course good sportsmanship.
