The Treasurer shall have the custody of the funds and valuable books and papers of the Association. He/She shall keep full and accurate accounts of the receipts and disbursements in books belonging to the Association and shall deposit all moneys and other valuable effects in the name and to the credit of the Association in such depositories as may be designated by the Board of Directors. He/She shall disburse funds for the Association as may be ordered by the Board of Directors or President, taking proper vouchers for such disbursements, and shall render to the President and/or Directors whenever they may require it, an account of all his transactions as Treasurer and of the Board of Directors and shall perform other such duties as the Board of Directors may prescribe and require. He/She shall submit an annual financial statement, summarizing the receipts and disbursements for the year and compared to at least the last 2 years, to the Board of Directors and Officers at least one week before the last meeting of the season.
Duties:
Provides a simple statement of funds available at all meetings
Maintains and administers all checking, savings and special accounts for TYSA
Maintains the financial records of TYSA
Updates the bank records with any and all changes in Officers of TYSA
Files the annual tax return for TYSA
Pays any and all bills incurred by TYSA as directed by the Board of Directors
